Aldo Fabrizi has performed as a bassist with many fine orchestras including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops Orchestra, the Handel & Haydn Society, The Opera Company of Boston, and many others. For the last 8 years he's been playing mandolin for English Country Dancers throughout the Northeast. Since 2012, he's been playing musettes, waltzes, tangos, and jigs with his newly formed group – the 3rd String Trio. In that same year he took over the podium as the Music Director of the Valley Light Opera.
Peter Barnes has been playing piano, flute, and assorted other instruments for traditional dancing since 1971, and has been invited to most major contra, square, British Isles and vintage dance events throughout the United States, performing for dances and concerts, leading ensemble workshops, and generally acting in a crazy and often undignified manner. Averaging over 250 engagements per year since 1980 he is arguably one of Western MA's busiest musicians. He works with the bands The Latter-Day Lizards, Bare Necessities, Yankee Ingenuity, Big Bandemonium, Dark Carnival, Crazy Quilt, and others. Peter's website
Karen Axelrod left the world of classical music over 25 years ago, and has found her home in the folk world. She is highly regarded for her creative piano playing at English, American and Scottish dance events around the country and abroad. Her improvisational playing is lyrical, yet is touched with humor and whimsy.
